Aidan Ramsey, a senior at Dallas Center-Grimes High in Iowa, won the boys 1,600 meters in 4:15.96 at the 112th Drake Relays Presented by Xtream and Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Ramsey covered the final lap in 58.3 seconds to hold off Jackson Mace-Maynard of Newton (4:16.27), with the Drake signee following Nate Mueller of Adel-DeSoto-Minburn from last season in sweeping both the 1,600 and 3,200 titles.
